I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

I have two domain controllers in a Windows 2000 domain. Both are also DNS
servers and dc-01 is the DHCP server. dc-01 holds all four FSMO roles.

I get the following error when I run netdom verify dc-01:

I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

When I run netdom verify dc-02, I get:

The secure channel from PDC to the domain ACCONLINE has been verified. The
connection is with the machine \\dc-01.domainname.com.
The command completed successfully.

I get the same responses when I run nltest /sc_query

I have checked the DNS servers and all entries are the same in dc-01 and
dc-02.

I'd appreciate any input,

I have your identical problem:

I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

If you describe your problem more detailed and with complete problem description
would be nice. You are replying to a posting that is in this NG not listed.
Also your OS and SP and what happened before the problem occurs.

I have 3 domain

Domain 1: profilglass.local
2 domain controller: server-dom1 and server-dom2

Domain 2: eurotubi.local
1 domain controller: server-dom3

Domain 3: adriafano.local
1 domain controller: server-dom5

All server is Windows 2003 Server ap2 or R2 sp2

I have 3 DNS ZONE in all Domain Controller
I have create secondary zone il all DNS Server for other DNS Server

I don't have any Event Error Message about problem for Actyve Directory
or Kerberos or replica or DNS.

When I create a TRUS from domain A to B, B to C and C to A, i have a
prolbem:

When i create trust to Profilglass.local domain, i have error message:

Unable to find domain or Unable to find DC for domain
profilglass.local

At this time, i have test any service by: nltest, dcdiag, netdom etc
etc.

DsGetDcName failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

If i lauch the command:
nltest /server:server-dom1 /sc_query:profilglass.local
error is:
I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN

If i lauch the command:
nltest /server:server-dom2 /sc_query:profilglass.local
Work OK

Whit ntdsutil, i have transfer all role from server-dom1 to
server-dom2

at this point, if i launch the command:

nltest /server:server-dom1 /sc_query:profilglass.local
WORK OK

If i lauch the command:
nltest /server:server-dom2 /sc_query:profilglass.local
error is:

I have the same problem. One domain, two domain controllers on the same
subnet, one of which holds all the roles. I have performed all suggested
checks I can find on the internet, they all pass with the including dcdiag /
v, replmon, netdom /query shows everything as it should be.

The problems I see are:

1) Running nltest /sc_query:<domain> on the role holder produces the error:
I_NetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERROR_NO_SUCH_DOMAIN. Running
the same command on the non role holder works.

2) One test (I cannot remember which) suggested the secure channel between
the two computers was not working. I reset this on both machines. It has not
made any differences.

If you find a problem, I would be most grateful if you could let me know.
(and if I find a solution I will let you know)
